Background:
Formed after the amalgamation of the first and middle schools in 1994, the present school is housed in modern buildings with 'extensive' playing fields and environmental areas in a residential area close to the town of Haslemere. Facilities include a performing arts studio, libraries, a computer suite and specialist study areas. A variety of sports is offered, including lacrosse and other extra-curricular activities range from dancing and drama to a book club. The school has close links with the church and community. 'Our mission, at St Bartholomew's Church of England Primary School, is to educate our children within a safe, happy, caring, Christian environment, where all are valued and encouraged to fulfil their potential, in all aspects of school life'.
