Background:
St Mary's Church of England Junior School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is seven to 11. The school has been delighted to receive support for the building of a new classroom block to replace he very old and deteriorating temporary huts. The new block will comprise six classrooms, housing the three-year classes and the three year four classes. The school has an ICT suite equipped with 32 computers. ICT is a cross-curricular subject and all relevant stages of the national curriculum are covered. Inter schools' competitions are also organised in football, netball and rounders. The school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities including: football, netball, cricket, basketball and rugby The school aims to provide a secure, supportive and challenging Christian environment that will offer all children appropriate opportunities for growth and development.
