Background:
The school occupies two buildings situated in extensive grounds. It 'endeavours to cater for the whole child', and has many extra curricular activites available to the pupil. These include a choir, orchestra, art, chess, drama clubs, football, tennis, cross country, running, touch rugby clubs and swimming in an indoor heated swimming pool which is available to pupils and the local community. The school runs an after school club every afternoon which caters for 32 pupils - mainly children of working parents - and provides fun activites, sports, homework facility, arts and crafts. Pupils are proud of their fund-raising and have recently sponsored a Kenyan school girl. The school is over-subscribed with on average 72 pupils applying for every 60 places. A forward looking school with an international dimension. Building world citizens.
