Background:
Cleves School was founded in 1967 as a primary school, and it now has Foundation status. It is housed in three separate buildings, with playing fields, separate playgrounds for different sports, and general play and quiet areas for each year. French is taught throughout the school. Residential visits are planned for each year-group with a 90 per cent take-up from pupils. The parent-teacher association is active and runs a bonfire and fireworks for the entire community. The school council raises funds for a different charity each year.
