Background:
Dormansland Primary School is a primary school for boys and girls. The age range of the pupils is 4-11. Accommodation consists of three classrooms, a hall, an office, the headteacher's office, staffroom and playground. There is also a modern building containing four classrooms, a sports hall and second office on the adjacent Clinton Hill site. Outside, there are playing fields, an environment area and adventure playground. Dormansland is proud to offer a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. The infants take part in an annual Festival of Music and the junior school choir has performed at such venues as The Hawth Theatre, Guilford Cathedral and The Royal Albert Hall. All pupils are given the opportunity to attend concerts and plays. The school aims to provide and maintain a secure, happy and stimulating environment within a disciplined structure that will meet the educational and social needs of the children.
