Background:
The Vale Primary School is a thriving village school catering for children between four to 11 years old. The school is situated on the Downs in the village of Langley Vale. The school building, which was completed in August 1999, is a purpose-built with excellent safe accommodation. There are seven well-equipped classrooms and several smaller areas for group teaching. It also has a large hall, two libraries, a technology room and an ICT suite. The school is built on an attractive site with playgrounds to the rear, a pond and an environmental area. A wide range of extra-curricular activities are offered at lunchtime and after-school. Educational trips are also arranged to enhance the curriculum. The school aims to create an atmosphere in which all members of the local community respect each other and their property.
